Danielle and Jesse have been together since the beginning of time — and have two boys, ages nine and seven, and a beautiful life to show for it. They made the trip into the city from New Jersey for our family session in Central Park on a gorgeous October afternoon. From the moment they arrived it was very clear their boys had absolutely no interest in standing still!

Danielle was incredibly sweet, warm and patient with the kids — right up until the moment she wasn't, her soft voice sharply elevating to exclaim "No iPad's when we get home!". She'd then turn to me and laugh — saying it worked every time. Jesse was so kind and easy going with a beard so big and full you could easily get lost in it. Danielle told me how much she loved it, which honestly tracks completely.

October in Central Park did what October in Central Park does best — the leaves, the light, all of it. And somewhere in between the silliness and the rambunctiousness and the occasional iPad negotiation, we got some beautiful family photographs that made it onto a few Instagram posts AND the family Christmas card. Mission accomplished!
