Some couples just have it. From the moment Kristen and Kendrick arrived on the cobblestones of Washington Mews on a warm May afternoon, it was clear this was going to be one of those sessions. She couldn't stop giggling — the kind of laugh you can't fake — and he was completely, utterly enamored of her the entire time. Hands always finding each other, always close, always in their own little world. There is something about two people who are genuinely, effortlessly happy together that makes my job feel less like work and more like a privilege.
Washington Mews in the Spring is something so special. Tucked away from the noise of the city, it is one of those rare New York City streets that feels like a secret — cobblestoned and quiet, lined with ivy and charm, the kind of place you stumble upon and immediately want to stay. On a warm May afternoon with the trees in full bloom and the light coming through just so, it was the perfect backdrop for two people as easy and beautiful together as Kristen and Kendrick. I barely had to do a thing. They were already everything.
