Some couples make your work feel like anything but. Maggie and David are that couple.
It was warm, Maggie was in all white - already David's wife for years, and still very much his bride. We started at Washington Mews and wound our way through the streets of Greenwich Village, yellow cabs rolling by in that perfectly chaotic way, through Washington Square Park (with the fountain bursting!), all the way to the middle of Sixth Avenue where IYKYK — one of the best views of the Freedom Tower in the entire city. We finished up right outside of their subway stop.
It doesn't get more New York City than that.
Maggie was an absolute stunner with gorgeous blue eyes that were zeroed in on my lens when she was not lovingly looking at her husband. David followed her lead and looked at her like he would do it again every single day of their lives without question. Not only were they the couple that makes you positively giddy to photograph, they will forever be a muse.
