By the time Cristina, Grant and Maeve showed up to Stuyvesant Square on a sunny late October afternoon, this was already our third shoot together. I photographed their maternity session, I was there when Maeve was brand new, and now here we were two years later - Maeve and her extraordinary curls leading the way, absolutely owning every single frame (with Mr. Fox!).

Some kids make you work for it. Maeve is NOT one of those kids. She was easy, happy, and such a natural! Grant was his usual chatty self, which I love — there is nothing better than a dad who keeps the energy up. Cristina warm and attentive, completely in tune with her daughter yet making sure I got her best angles. Being "Forever Photographer", watching a family you have photographed from the very beginning just settle into themselves is a gift!
